Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Children's Minnesota. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Minnesota RN licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- Based upon the unit in which you are applying, additional certification(s) may be required.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required or obtained during orientation.
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required or obtained during orientation.
