Job Title: Drafter

Job Description
  • As a Drafter at Actalent, you will work from specifications to create detailed drawings and designs for mechanical products.
  • You will specify materials and procedures needed for new products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Modify designs to fix operating problems or reduce production issues, collaborating with engineers and architects to achieve optimal results.
  • Review specifications, sketches, and drawings to assess factors that affect component designs, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other workers to design and lay out components and systems, utilizing AutoCAD and Solidworks to create accurate and efficient designs.
  • 2-4 years of drafting/design related experience required.
