Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL-A Local Intermodal Truck Driver to join our team at Schneider. As a Local Intermodal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 99% no-touch freight that is mostly drop-and-hook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
  • Drive in and out of railyards within Washington.
  • Meet daily home time requirements.
Benefits
  • Hourly pay and load pay.
  • Wage Scale: Hourly pay of $15 for all on-duty hours (Line 3 and Line 4 time) in addition to between $26 and $36 for each assigned shipment you complete (specific Shipment Pay rate depends on experience).
  • Paid orientation.
  • Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
  • Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
  • Live within 30 miles of Kent, WA.
  • Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience.
