Occupational Therapist for Home Health

FeldCare Connects, a leading referral network, seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to adults of all ages.
This position is for an Independent Contractor to serve the Port Hueneme area specifically.
The Occupational Therapist in Home Health is responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve patient wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing services defined by state laws governing Occupational Therapy practice, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with the healthcare team.
- Leading patients in therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
- Observing, recording, and reporting patient response to treatment and changes to patient condition.
- Instructing patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team in areas of therapy where they can participate in assisting the patient.
Qualifications:
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
- Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state.
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
- Bilingual is a plus.
