Press Trainee

Job Summary: As a Press Trainee at Wick Communications, you will be responsible for supporting the Lead Pressman in fulfilling the duties required of the position. This includes providing input for troubleshooting and making recommendations to correct problems. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensure quality standards, and perform maintenance tasks as trained and instructed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Ensure quality standards.
• Perform maintenance tasks as trained and instructed.
• Roll Tending, Color Setting, Folder Operation, Stack Down, and Plate Making.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Skill Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in a work environment.

Inter-Relationships: Teamwork with coworkers and supervisors.

Working Conditions: Work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Needed Attributes: Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills, good visual and observation skills.

Compensation: Hourly.
