**Job Summary:**
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and development of high-performance transducers. This involves planning and executing technical projects, conducting independent investigations, and preparing design specifications and analyses. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other teams to meet project demands.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop NPI packaging methods, such as injection molded housings, lensing design, and tooling jigs and fixtures for repeatable results
- Conduct daily progress tracking of samples/experiments and provide accurate updates
- Maintain lab efficiency, test equipment, and supplies in an orderly and professional manner
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. A Master's or Ph.D. is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in product development, with a focus on electro-mechanical devices. Strong knowledge of mechanical tolerance analysis and designed experiment techniques is necessary. Expertise in SolidWorks and thermal modeling is also required.
**Estimated Salary Range:** $97,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience
