Clinical Nursing Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate staffing schedules for each unit per shift.
- Assist the lead nurse in resolving staffing challenges as they arise.
- Conduct rounds and maintain a prominent managerial presence.
- Support new personnel and act as a resource for the nursing team.
- Assist with procedures in instances where staff face difficulties.
- Advocate for essential resources such as medical supplies.
- Listen to staff concerns and effectively resolve conflicts when necessary.
- Respond to safety alerts as required.
- Provide feedback to nursing managers regarding quality and employee-related matters.
- Address patient and family grievances when necessary.
- Comply with policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Complete mandatory educational tasks annually. Work towards established goals and engage in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Perform any other assigned responsibilities.
Minimum Education: None specified; however, it should meet the requirements for obtaining the necessary license/certification.
Minimum Experience: Three (3) years of clinical experience with a preference for nursing education experience.
Licensure Requirement: Must possess a current Tennessee RN license. CPR certification is mandatory.
