Job Overview

Aramark is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team at Yosemite - Curry Village. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, providing friendly and efficient interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Inspect and clean assigned areas, using judgment to determine the most effective cleaning techniques and equipment.
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and solutions safely and efficiently, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment as needed.
  • Dispose of trash and bio-hazardous materials in accordance with universal precautions.
  • Keep carts stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is in good working condition.
  • Promote effective interpersonal relationships and maintain professional conduct at all times.
  • Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
  • Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence by adhering to component and departmental training commitments.
Requirements
  • Past cleaning experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.
