About the Role
The Lead Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs in various areas, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, and waste management systems. This includes creating and organizing work orders, completing assigned tasks, and ensuring vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner.

Key Objectives
• Diagnose and repair complex issues in various areas
• Create and organize work orders
• Complete assigned tasks and ensure timely completion
• Ensure vacant apartment homes are ready for occupancy
• Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
• Identify and address maintenance needs on community grounds and buildings
