Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform routine and minor special radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental/hospital policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of radiographic and ancillary equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Operate all radiographic and ancillary equipment associated with the performance of routine and minor special radiographic procedures.
- Utilize proper radiographic and positioning techniques to maximize radiographic quality and minimize repeat images.
- Assist radiologists and other physicians with fluoroscopic and other special procedures.
- Administer medications in a timely manner, safely, and in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Assist with departmental coverage at one or more satellite facilities, including weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage.
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited certification program in Radiologic Technology.
- Licensure to be eligible to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered.
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire.
