Job Summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver competent, compassionate, and cost-effective nursing care to patients in the ICU.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and report patient lab work and vital signs to ensure timely interventions.
  • Perform and document ongoing patient assessments to reflect patients' physical and mental status.
Requirements
  • Active Florida RN license or active multi-state RN license.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current AHA Advanced Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NPR, S.T.A.B.L.E. and/or Emergency Nurses Trauma Nursing Core Class (TNCC) Certifications may be required upon hire for certain departments.
  • ICU experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's (BSN) degree.
  • National certification in areas of practice.
  • Member of national professional organization.
