About the Role

As a member of our global virtual team, you will have the chance to design and deploy new digital tools in a manufacturing environment, significantly impacting how our client serves the Aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement PLC Upgrades: Develop and oversee the implementation of PLC upgrades across various locations, ensuring seamless integration of systems.
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with IT teams to ensure the integration of systems, providing solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Lead and Support Projects: Lead and support projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Manage Capital Budgets: Effectively manage capital budgets, optimizing costs and resources.
  • Integrate PLC Systems with MES: Integrate PLC systems with MES for enhanced manufacturing operations.
  • Add Instrumentation to Existing Systems: Add instrumentation to existing systems for improved data collection and analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Related Field: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Proven Experience in PLC Programming: Proven experience in PLC programming, upgrades, and system integration is essential.
  • Strong Understanding of MES Systems: A strong understanding of MES systems and their integration with PLC controls is required.
  • Excellent Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets, are necessary.
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams are essential.
