Audio Engineering Instructor

San Jacinto College seeks a qualified Part-Time Faculty member to teach Audio Engineering courses at our Central Campus.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to share their expertise and passion for audio engineering with students in a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
About the Role:
We are looking for an instructor who can teach Audio Engineering related course work, utilizing various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the college.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Audio Engineering courses using a variety of instructional techniques, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve academic success.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, applicants must have a strong background in audio engineering and experience in teaching or industry-related fields. A minimum of two years' experience in audio engineering is required, as well as knowledge of MAC-based software, including Digital Performer, Reason, and Pro Tools.
Compensation and Benefits:
This part-time faculty position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a generous salary, instructors also receive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and access to professional development opportunities.
