Job Overview

Krise Transportation is seeking a dedicated School Bus Driver to join our team. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in safely transporting students to and from school, while also contributing to the well-being and education of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, including during loading and unloading.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance driving skills and knowledge.

  • A competitive base pay of $23.75 per hour.
  • A $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements
  • A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake Endorsements.
  • A satisfactory driving history based on review of state motor vehicle records.
  • A clean criminal history record and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • Must pass an initial and routine annual school bus driver physical and have tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and will also participate in random drug and alcohol testing programs throughout employment.
