Position Overview:
A healthcare organization based in Canby is in search of a dedicated and empathetic internal medicine physician to become part of a collaborative, nonprofit outpatient practice. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience, demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based medical practices, and be adept at treating adult patients.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon medical license as an MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification in primary care
- Oregon DEA certificate prior to commencement
- Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct primary care and outpatient services to clinic patients
- Engage in the formulation of clinic protocols and procedures to uphold high standards of medical care
- Participate in utilization and peer review initiatives to assess the quality of medical staff and services provided at the clinics
- Offer supervision and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Provide telephonic consultation services to practitioners as required
