- Accurately verify and dispense prescribed medications.
- Document all services promptly and efficiently.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing medication safety.
- Utilize advanced technology to support pharmacy operations.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Maintain professional relationships with patients and their families.
- Guide pharmacy staff in providing safe and effective care.
- Foster a collaborative and positive workplace environment.
- Educate pharmacy students, residents, and patients on medication use.
- Deliver cost-effective pharmaceutical care.
- Adhere to established drug policies and procedures.
- Optimize the use of time and resources in daily operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and completion of an immunization administration course.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, if applicable.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Capable of functioning effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Completion of a pharmacy residency or relevant professional experience is essential.
- Ability to perform job duties while standing and walking for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and capability to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Normal or corrected vision is required.
- Effective verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Adhere to standard safety precautions using personal protective equipment.
