Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Transplant Program in Dallas, Texas. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing abdominal transplant procedures.
About the RoleThis is a 36-hour per week, 12-hour night shift position in our fast-paced Surgical Inpatient unit. You will work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to provide care to patients with liver, kidney, pancreas, auto islet cell, and uterus transplant patients, as well as living liver and kidney donors and hepatology patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to transplant patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in unit-based councils to improve patient outcomes and advance nursing practice
- Support the development of transplant-specific certification (CCTN) and career growth opportunities within the Transplant Program

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have at least one year of inpatient hospital RN experience, a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, and a valid RN license. You must also have BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
