Position Overview:
The Comprehensive Intelligence Analyst conducts thorough all-source investigations and social network evaluations utilizing advanced analytical methodologies. This role involves identifying opportunities to disrupt or diminish networks as necessary, evaluating information voids, and forecasting areas of intelligence that enhance the collection process based on strategic collection methods and Requests for Information (RFI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, research, and articulate detailed analyses of intricate and significant national, regional, and global matters for senior decision-makers and key entities within the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Lead the creation of a diverse array of finished intelligence reports that bolster U.S. counter-proliferation initiatives; provide analytical evaluations on topics related to counter-proliferation, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare, arms control, and exploitation program planning.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive written and oral presentations to senior internal and external stakeholders on critical intelligence matters; simplify complex concepts for non-expert audiences and customize outputs to meet client requirements.
- Utilize a wide range of analytical tools and techniques to achieve a thorough understanding of complex analytic issues and integrate insights into sophisticated intelligence products.
- Foster and sustain collaborative relationships with colleagues, subject matter experts (SMEs), and analysts across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) and Intelligence Community, leveraging these connections to share pertinent information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), Counter-WMD (CWMD), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) topics.
- Proven ability to derive understanding from complex, incomplete, and technically advanced information.
- Ability to structure analysis based on reporting trends and diverse analytical perspectives.
- Demonstrated capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Experience collaborating with other IC members on information sharing and resolving analytic disputes.
- Expertise in producing concise, insightful, and comprehensive intelligence products.
- Ability to lead teams in researching complex or critical issues.
- Guidance in selecting and applying analytical methodologies, utilizing argument evaluation to challenge differing viewpoints.
- Experience in planning, researching, and producing high-quality analysis on U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives related to WMD, CBRNE, or similar topics.
- Extensive knowledge of DoD, DIE, and IC policies and procedures, along with a strong grasp of analytic tradecraft.
- Proficiency in producing finished intelligence related to WMD, CBRNE, or similar subjects.
- Ability to utilize various analytical tools and methods for data research, analysis, and presentation.
- Skill in generating high-quality analytic outputs, including finished intelligence reports, using structured analytical techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and MS Teams.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to WMD, CBRNE, or all-source intelligence analysis from an accredited institution.
- At least eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in WMD or CBRNE analysis, with a portion of this experience within the last two years.
Clearance Requirements: This position necessitates an active TS//SCI clearance. A counterintelligence polygraph is also required. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
Work Environment: This role requires on-site work.
