**Job Summary**

As an Aircraft Structural Maintenance specialist with the United States Air Force, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of Air Force aircraft. This involves repairing physical damage, installing replacement parts, and building new structures to restore the aircraft's integrity and ensure the safety of Airmen.

**Responsibilities**

* Repair and maintain aircraft structures to ensure airworthiness
* Install replacement parts and components
* Build new structures to replace damaged ones
* Conduct inspections to identify potential issues
* Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations

**Requirements**

* Be at least 17 years old and not have reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
* Obtain a qualifying ASVAB score
* Complete 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
* Have knowledge of aircraft construction features
