Dishroom Coordinator

The Dishwasher is a critical member of our kitchen team, responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This includes washing and sorting dishes, prepping foods as needed, and ensuring that all food and supplies are stored and cleaned in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

1. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including the dish area, floors, and storage areas.
2. Wash and sort dishes, and prep foods as needed.
3. Set up and maintain dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
4. Change water in machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels.
5. Assist in the timely storing of food deliveries.
6. Maintain trash cans throughout the shift and remove full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
7. Maintain the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
8. Follow the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
9. Assist in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs, and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces.
