We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Licensed Massage Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing patients and providing a variety of therapeutic massage techniques. This role allows for a flexible schedule tailored to your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' soft tissue conditions, joint mobility, muscle strength, and range of motion.
  • Create and recommend personalized treatment plans detailing the types of massage techniques to be utilized.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists to design comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
  • Administer massage and manipulate the muscles and soft tissues to address medical issues, injuries, or promote wellness.
  • Maintain thorough and precise treatment records for each client.
  • Utilize therapeutic devices, including those for electrotherapy, ultrasound, heat, cold, iontophoresis, biofeedback, and compression.
  • Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of therapy rooms and shared spaces.
  • Accurately document treatments using an electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Physical Demands:

  • Mobility: Ability to navigate freely to assist patients and colleagues.
  • Lifting: Capable of lifting and moving equipment or assisting patients as necessary (up to 50 pounds).
  • Standing: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during therapy sessions.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skilled in handling therapy tools and equipment.
  • Visual and Auditory Skills: Proficient in observing patients and communicating effectively.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to changing tasks and schedules in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Work Environment: This role involves working in a healthcare setting, engaging with patients with diverse medical conditions. Flexibility in hours may be required based on patient needs and clinic operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, along with successful completion of a Therapeutic Massage program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure experience directly related to the responsibilities of a Licensed Massage Practitioner.
  • Experience in Medical Massage Therapy is highly desirable.
  • Current State licensure for Massage Practitioners is required.
