About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operating Room Technician to join our team in White Plains, NY.
Job Summary
The Operating Room Technician will assist the surgical team with preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience.
- Assist the surgical team with setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of supply usage and inventory.
- Participate in infection control and fire safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A certificate or degree in surgical technology or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
