Job Highlights:
Epic Travel Staffing is on the lookout for a Travel RN - Med/Surg Float Pool.
Shift Details: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid WA Nursing License
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Proficient in general Med Surg skills: including chest tubes, tracheostomies, PICC/midlines/central lines, Foley catheters, NG tubes, dressing changes, wound vacs, and ostomy care
- Experience in telemetry, pediatrics, and psychiatric nursing is preferred
- BCLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS certification is a plus
Additional Information:
- Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
- Floating to all Med Surg units in a 228-bed facility
- Patient Types: Primarily adults, including post-surgical patients, strokes, oncology (no chemotherapy experience necessary), CHF, COPD, respiratory issues, GI issues, orthopedic cases, and COVID-related care
- Open to first-time travelers with 2 years of Med Surg experience
