Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team at Brown Emergency Medicine. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals interested in furthering their career in healthcare.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our emergency department physicians to accurately document patient encounters, including histories and physical exams. They will be responsible for maximizing efficiency and optimizing patient throughput by tracking laboratory and radiographic test results, transcribing them into the medical record, and retrieving prior patient records.

The ideal candidate will have strong data entry and typing skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Prior healthcare experience is an advantage.
