Senior Estimator

Union Paving is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for track construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple estimates and ensure accurate and timely preparation.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Develop relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Review bid documents and assess project logistics, schedules, and risks.
• Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Review quotes and estimates with the project management team.
• Prepare estimates at different levels of completion.
• Perform post-bid buyouts and pre-construction duties.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in track construction estimating.
• Experience working on MTA projects or bids a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Familiarity with track construction terminology.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
