The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Threat Engineer to join our team. As a leader in systems engineering, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex IT systems for national security applications. Your expertise in systems engineering, combined with your ability to lead and manage engineering teams, will be essential in delivering customer-focused engineering solutions.

As a Senior Systems Threat Engineer, you will work closely with our customers to understand their technical requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. You will be responsible for planning and executing program increments, retrospectives, and other Essential SAFe activities. Your ability to analyze, plan, design, document, assess, and manage the IT enterprise structural framework will be critical in aligning IT systems with the mission, goals, and business processes of the organization.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in systems engineering, experience with Agile project management tools, and a proven track record of leading engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex IT systems for national security applications
  • Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver customer-focused engineering solutions
  • Plan and execute program increments, retrospectives, and other Essential SAFe activities
  • Analyze, plan, design, document, assess, and manage the IT enterprise structural framework
  • Develop and administer databases used to store and retrieve data
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software to ensure the availability and functionality of systems
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience with systems engineering of IT systems
  • Ability to plan and execute program increments, retrospectives, and other Essential SAFe activities
  • Ability to analyze, plan, design, document, assess, and manage the IT enterprise structural framework
  • Ability to develop and administer databases used to store and retrieve data
  • Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software to ensure the availability and functionality of systems
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Technology
  • Agile and DoD 8570 Level I Certification
Nice to Have
  • Experience with using Agile project management tools, including Jira
  • Experience with using Confluence or an alternative knowledge management tool
  • SAFe Agilist, SAFe Product Owner or Product Manager, Confluence, or Jira Certification
Clearance
