Job Title: Ready Mix Driver

At Poeppelman Materials, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Ready Mix Driver to join our team. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving a truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver ready-mix concrete to customer sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive a truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver ready-mix concrete to customer sites.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of the concrete.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the truck.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck.
  • Establish and maintain a professional and friendly relationship with customers, clients, management, and co-workers.
  • Comply with all CDL Truck Drivers' safety requirements and policies.
Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating and driving a truck with a concrete mixer.
  • Knowledge of the principles and procedures for mixing ready-mix concrete.
  • Ability to read and understand delivery tickets and follow instructions.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
