Fleet Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Clean Earth is a leading provider of environmental services in the United States. As a Fleet Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet vehicles.
About the Role:
This position involves coordinating routine service and inspection of fleet vehicles, performing scheduled and non-scheduled repairs, and minimizing repair costs by implementing preventative maintenance and competitive price shopping with vendors. You will maintain all repair and inspection records and keep the work area clean and organized.
Main Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles correctly using the right parts and completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain all records of repairs/inspections per regulations and ensure compliance with Company Policy and Department expectations.
- Anticipate routine maintenance requirements, schedule vehicle downtime with the Ops Team, and coordinate outside vendor repair scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Equivalent to High School graduation or GED.
- Certified as a mechanic by the State of Michigan.
- CDL Class A license with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsement preferred but not required.
- Ability to complete pre-hire requisites including physical, drug screen, and background check.
Estimated Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year.
