Physical Therapist

Exceptional Children's Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive physical therapy services to children with developmental disabilities.
Job Summary:Under the supervision of the Program Manager, you will assist in evaluating and developing an appropriate treatment method for consumers ages birth to three years of age. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive physical therapy case management for all eligible clients
- Evaluating clients using appropriate evaluation techniques and tests
- Developing and implementing home exercise programs for clients receiving physical therapy services
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Documenting client treatment and participating in patient conferences
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Medical Association
- A California License in Physical Therapy
- At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist working with children ages birth to three years of age
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
