The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to manage a team of six in a large luxury apartment community. The ideal candidate will have experience with computers, electric, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows, locks, and HVAC. This role offers competitive compensation, including an apartment as part of the package, as well as paid vacation and sick time, and 16-25 PAID holidays per year.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain the maintenance shop, ensuring it remains clean and efficient.
  • Coordinate vendor and contractor schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of service requests within the apartment community.
  • Lift heavy objects, such as appliances, and perform tasks like tile work, drywall work, appliance repair and installation, and HVAC repairs.
  • Perform snow removal and other tasks like carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing, cleaning, waste removal, heat and air-conditioning repair, masonry, grounds keeping, landscaping, and sewer maintenance.
  • Implement a preventative maintenance program under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Be available for emergency repairs and after-hours 'on call' duty as required.
  • Operate company vehicles safely with a valid driver's license (golf carts, quads, and trucks).
  • Use maintenance tools effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe work environment while performing maintenance duties.
