Job Summary:

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team in the CT Department. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners and other related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, or advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R), or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT) if less than one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
  • BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months of experience as a CT Technologist.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.
