Sunrun is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining demand and supply plans, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with business units to refine materials forecasts.
Key Responsibilities- Accurate setup of Oracle attributes to ensure alignment of material replenishment with planning methodologies
- Collaboration with business units on refinement of materials forecasts
- Development and improvement of materials planning processes
- Tracking and managing inventory performance for all Sunrun branch locations
- Ensuring materials availability in accordance with branch stock plans
- Optimizing material flow and efficiency in the value chain
- Mitigating P&L impact of excess and obsolete inventory
- Collaboration with business units, project management, and purchasing functions on milestone-based procurement activities
- Analyzing and managing min/max planned material and safety stock levels
- Escalation point for materials issues and conflicts
- Supporting field service and warranty material needs
- Coordinating requisitioning and supply of material
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management or similar discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Demand Planner, Master Scheduler, Production Control Analyst, or similar role
- Experience with MRP execution and implementation of work orders, min/max, consignment, and free stock material management systems
- Advanced-to-Expert level spreadsheet skills and ability to build models for analysis
- SQL experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with a systems outlook and expert analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Concise communications skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to execute on multiple projects within defined timelines
