Mechatronics Technician for Refrigeration Technology

Are you a skilled craftsman looking to turn your talent into a profession? Then consider this apprenticeship opportunity.

In 3.5 years of training, you will learn how to design, assemble, commission, maintain, and test refrigeration and air conditioning systems, components, and equipment. You will primarily work in the service department of our company and accompany our service technicians in their daily work with clients. Occasionally, you will be assigned to our headquarters in Hamburg, where you will gain experience in the following areas:

• Production and Manufacturing
• Quality Assurance and Control
• Electrical Systems and Electronics

You will also be taught a range of manual skills, both internally and in external training facilities. In vocational school, you will study the following topics:

• Refrigeration Technology and Systems
• Air Conditioning Technology and Systems
• Electrical Systems and Circuits
• Electronics and Control Systems

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following qualifications:

• Good first general education qualification or intermediate school leaving certificate
• Strong grades in physics, math, and chemistry
• Technical aptitude and interest
• Manual dexterity and coordination
• Ability to work effectively in a team

Upon successful completion of your journeyman's examination, you will be well-prepared for a career in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
