At Felician Sisters of North America, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Nurse to provide high-quality care for our elder sisters in a small, convent home environment.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our health services team. As a Residential Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, managing multiple priorities, and assisting in overseeing Nurse Aides to ensure the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide resident-focused care, including distributing medication, maintaining records, and performing charting duties
- Assist other nursing staff with resident care activities and related services
- Collaborate with Nurse Aides to ensure excellent care and support for our residents
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and partnership across departments
Requirements:
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Connecticut
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with long-term care experience preferred
