Job Description

Position Overview

As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to oversee and provide optimal nutrition therapy to a caseload of clients at our Atlanta Treatment Center.

You will develop care plans by conducting nutrition assessments, monitoring ongoing medical conditions, and through collaboration with the other members of our multidisciplinary treatment team.

Our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
  • Provides group nutrition education as assigned.
  • Provides active meal coaching and support for patients and families/communities of support, including participating in and completing Therapeutic Supported Meals/Snacks as appropriate and as assigned.
  • Provides nutrition-specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.
  • Collaborates with Nutrition and Culinary Manager and nutrition team when needing or providing clinical coverage.

Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian credential required
  • Current license in the state of employment (Georgia) required
  • One year of clinical experience
