Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at Aspirus MedEvac in Iron River, MI. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing safe and comprehensive care to critically ill and injured patients in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports.
  • Apply specialized principles and techniques of transport paramedic practice, emergency procedures, and diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Active Michigan Paramedic license.
  • Active Paramedic license/certification or will obtain dual license Michigan/Wisconsin within 120 days of hire.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Possesses a valid Driver's license in the State of residency.
  • Current Paramedic National Registry licensure preferred.
  • Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations (CEVO) or Emergency Vehicle Operating Certification (EVOC) or training.
