Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Virginia Tech's Dining Serv-Satellite Operations. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, handling floor maintenance, furniture cleaning, and replenishing supplies.

About the Role

">

This Housekeeping Specialist position is responsible for ensuring the exterior of the building remains tidy by clearing snow, removing trash, and sweeping sidewalks. Additionally, they will report facility repair needs promptly and manage non-routine cleaning tasks for special events.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you must have previous customer service experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and knowledge of commercial/industrial cleaning methods and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

">

Experience in cleaning institutional, domestic, or commercial areas is an asset. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
