We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at AdeIphi Medical Staffing in Keene, NH.

About the Role:

This is a per diem opportunity for an experienced LPN to provide direct patient care under the guidance of RNs or physicians. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills, be able to administer medications and treatments accurately, and effectively communicate with patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care by administering medications, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews, to develop personalized care plans.
  • Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to guidelines.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, medications, and self-care practices, promoting overall well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, addressing comfort and safety requirements as needed.
  • Infection Control: Maintain strict infection control procedures, adhering to hand hygiene and PPE protocols to prevent infections.
  • Other Duties: Supervise CNAs or UAPs, participate in ongoing education and training, and perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license.
  • BLS certification.
