About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong technical background in cybersecurity, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. You will work closely with our leadership team, enterprise-level architects, and developers to drive security initiatives and lead/guide junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead critical security incidents and high-level analytics
  • Guide the team through investigations and discovery
  • Work closely with leadership, architects, and developers to drive security initiatives
  • Lead/guide junior analysts
  • Collaborate with security architects and engineers to influence design, development, and implementation of solutions
  • Influence and communicate new security policies, frameworks, and regulations into operational processes
  • Mentor and coach less experienced security analysts
  • Establish and maintain solid working relationships across business and IT teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a technical liaison in cybersecurity
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Proven success in collaborating with security architects and engineers
  • Experience influencing and communicating new security policies, frameworks, and regulations
  • Proven technical leadership capabilities
  • Experience mentoring and coaching less experienced security analysts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and MITRE Attack
  • Knowledge of cloud-based security standards and protocols
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft security suite and productivity environment
  • CISSP, CISM, GSEC or similar security certification
  • Cloud+, AWS practitioner or similar cloud certification
