We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Security Shift Supervisor at Highland Park Community Development Corp. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents and staff, while also providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall mission of our organization.

Job Summary

The Security Shift Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of our security team, including supervising security officers, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents and staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. If you have experience in security management and a passion for delivering high-quality services, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise security officers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, and take appropriate action to ensure safety and security
  • Maintain accurate records of security activities, including incident reports and patrol logs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve security operations and reduce risks
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as criminal justice or business administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of security practices, emergency procedures, and crisis management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
