Aylo Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic mammograms and assisting with breast imaging procedures to support the early detection and diagnosis of breast conditions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in mammographic imaging, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Perform high-quality mammographic imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, to aid in the evaluation of breast health.
• Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures, ensuring comfort and explaining the process to alleviate anxiety.
• Operate Hologic Selenia Dimensions mammography equipment to capture detailed images of breast tissue, following established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Review and assess the quality of mammographic images, adjusting as needed to achieve optimal results and documenting findings.
• Collaborate with radiologists, breast specialists, and other healthcare professionals to communicate findings and integrate mammography results into patient care plans.
• Conduct quality control checks on mammography equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety, and report any malfunctions or issues.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and effective work environment.
• Provide empathetic and informative support to patients, educating them about mammography procedures, breast health, and follow-up care as needed.

• Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and Mammography Technologist (RT(M)) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in operating mammography equipment and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Strong understanding of breast anatomy, mammography techniques, and radiation safety practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in performing and documenting mammography procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care, especially in sensitive situations.
