Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our treatment team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing clinical leadership and care for patients battling substance use disorders. Your expertise will help shape the recovery process and support patients on their journey to healing.

Responsibilities
  • Administer patient care, including medications and treatments, in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate patient care and update treatment plans.
  • Assess, orient, and coordinate the plan of care for new patients, ensuring a smooth admission process.
  • Participate in a therapeutic environment on the unit, facilitating a supportive and non-judgmental space for patients.
  • Generate and review monthly medication administration records (MARs) and reconcile them with records provided by authorized pharmacists.
  • Work with the treatment team to develop and implement discharge plans from the day of admission.
  • Act as a liaison for hospitalized patients and their families, connecting them with community agencies and other vital services.
  • Record and chart daily patient contacts as required, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
Requirements
  • State-specific RN licensure required; BSN or greater degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a mental health or substance use disorder program, with a preference for experience in acute or residential psychiatric care.
  • Must have or be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
