Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse II to join our team at Levindale Hospital's Brain Health Unit. As a Charge Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective patient care, while also serving as a leader and advisor to other members of the patient care team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and supervision to a team of nurses
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and ensure quality care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Current Maryland RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a charge/lead nurse role
  • Knowledge of a specialized field, with 2+ years of experience in the area of clinical expertise (Med/Surg)
  • Nursing Certification of specialty area within 3-5 years of hire
