Flexographic Press Operator

The Flexographic Press Operator is a critical role in our production process, responsible for operating a Flexographic press to produce high-quality printed products. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a Flexographic press to produce printed products, ensuring high-quality output and meeting customer requirements.
- Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
- Monitor and adjust printing processes to maintain specified operating levels and detect malfunctions.
- Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on equipment, ensuring proper ink coverage and alignment.
- Pour ink and other materials into reservoirs of printing units, making measurements and adjustments to control color and viscosity.
- Maintain or adjust equipment using proper preventive maintenance techniques, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Removes printed materials from presses and transports them to storage or finishing areas.
- Ensure adherence to all quality control processes and procedures, actively supporting the company's internal audit program.
- Maintain daily time and materials usage reports by entering information into the computer management system.
- 1-2 years relevant experience in printing preferred.
- High school diploma / GED / or equivalent preferred.
- Candidate should possess basic mathematical skills.
- Candidate should possess a strong work ethic, time management, and troubleshooting skills, a positive attitude, and be detail-oriented.
- Individual must be able to monitor processes, materials, and equipment, as well as judge quality through inspection of characteristics.
- Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required.
- Individual must have good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.
- Individual must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people, maintaining flexibility, objectivity, and a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
