Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Job Summary:
Provide direct patient care to patients in the Medical Surgical Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify potential health risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
