About the Role

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to new mothers and families.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients throughout labor and serve as the primary point of contact for family members.
  • Monitor baby's heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn.
  • Perform phlebotomy, basic IV and central lines as needed.
  • Assess and record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages.
  • Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered.
  • Provide education and support to new mothers and families on infant care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
