Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for organizing, developing, and directing physical therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Alomere Health's policies and procedures. This includes providing high-quality care, excellent customer service, fiscal responsibility, and maintaining regulatory compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with referring providers regarding patient progress and needs
  • Coordinate care with other professionals to maximize patient outcomes
  • Act as a resource to area therapists regarding facility protocols
  • Supervise and/or delegate tasks in accordance with state laws and scope of practice
  • Utilize the EMR system for research and retrieval of relevant medical information
  • Complete accurate and timely therapy documentation and billing
  • Use evidence-based information and principles to therapy practice
  • Provide safe, reliable, and efficient performance of appropriate therapy procedures to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan
  • Involve the patient and family (as appropriate) in care planning and goal setting
  • Develop a plan of treatment for each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluation
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (M.P.T. or D.P.T.)
  • Current (or eligible for) license from the MN board of Physical Therapy
  • CPR certification
  • One year post-graduate experience (preferred)
  • Electronic Medical Record experience (preferred)
