We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, Georgia.

Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Respiratory Therapy department. This includes performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures, and critical care procedures in adult care areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer respiratory care procedures, including oxygen therapy and ventilation
  • Conduct blood gas analysis and interpret results
  • Maintain and manage all equipment and supplies
  • Provide patient education and support
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
  • Previous working experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
  • Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS
