Job Summary

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Patient Care Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, exams, and treatments
  • Administer medications, fluids, and other medical interventions as needed
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to veterinarians
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including preparation and recovery
  • Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and respond to their questions and concerns
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
  • 1+ year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
