Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Purchase College. As a key member of our dining operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative culinary solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement menus that meet established guidelines and standards.
  • Supervise and mentor chefs, cooks, and other team members on food preparation, safe handling, and sanitation practices.
  • Manage inventory of food and non-food supplies, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and maintaining necessary products.
  • Forecast annual food and labor costs and monitor actual financial results.
  • Foster strong client relationships to align our programs with their objectives, driving satisfaction and retention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of dining service operations.
Qualifications
  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
  • Experience in high-volume, hands-on foodservice operations.
  • Must be experienced with computers.
  • ServSafe Certified.
